Investment of RMB 2.4 trillion to be completed in Shanxi Province in 2026
In 2026, a total investment of RMB 2.4 trillion ($0.34 trillion) will be completed in China’s Shanxi Province, in 629 key projects, including 309 energy projects. In particular, the annual investment will amount to RMB 109.04 billion ($15.6 billion).
Japan's Daido Steel awarded engineering role for Nippon Steel's Setouchi EAF project
Japanese steel producer Nippon Steel has selected Nagoya-based special steel producer and plant engineering company Daido Steel to carry out engineering work for its new electric arc furnace (EAF) project at its Setouchi Works in western Japan, the companies announced. The furnace itself will be supplied by Italian plantmaker Tenova.
